Once again it is nearing the end of the month and it’s time to compile our best recipes we’ve come across. It seems now to be turning into a monthly tradition of ours to sit down with a glass (or few glasses!) of red to see which ones we think look the tastiest and most interesting. Even if we do not get a chance to try them right away, it’s nice to log them to be able to come back to in the future.
Hope you like and try some of the recipes below.
Nettle Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe With Guanciale – Delicious Australia – This looks interesting. We’ve never had nettle anything before, but looks great, so would love to give it a try.
Roasted Chicken Breast With Cherry Tomatoes And Asparagus – Jamie Oliver – As is starting to slowly slip into Autumn, we are liking these style of dishes. A nice roast with juicy tomatoes!
Egg And Bacon Pie – Delicious Magazine – Not sure you could eat this a lot, but who would not want a full English in a pie!
Mascarpoone And Marmalde Ice Cream – BBC Good Food – I know we said it’s getting towards Autumn and cosy, warming dishes, but this is a late entry holding on to Summer for a bit longer. Sounds delicious and slightly different.
Rabbit, Chestnut And Mushroom Pappardelle, and Blackberry Souffle – Thomasina Miers – This is one of the reasons we love Autumn! The produce at this time of year is at its best, in our opinion. We love the sound of the pasta dish and the soufflé (although the soufflé is a little more complicated to get right)
Fried Pheasant With Quince And Bay – Gill Mellor – Continuing with the gamy meats, this looks like a really tasty dish that once again has that lovely Autumn feel to it. We never had quince before, so sounds really interesting to try.
Pot-roasted Pork Loin With Pancetta, Swede And Celeriac – Tesco Real Food – Couldn’t resist this tasty, but simple one pot roast. Sounds like you’ll still get the tasty roast flavours without the washing up.
If you have or have seen any great recipes this month or some classics you use time and again, please share them with us and if you are happy to do so, we can include them in next month’s round-up.
